How to Take Client Photos:

To take a client photo in GlossGenius, follow these steps:

Taking Client Photos From the Appointment or Checkout Details Screen:

1. Tap into an appointment from the calendar or tap on the transaction from the checkout screen

2. Tap on the Photos button

3. Select the icon in the top right corner

Note: The recommended image size is 450 x 450 pixels. 

4. Choose to either take a photo, or select one from your device's library

5. After taking or selecting the photo, click the Add button to save it to the client's portfolio. Currently, photos can only be added one at a time. 


Note: When you tap into an appointment or checkout a client, a photo reminder may appear prompting you to capture before and after pictures of your client. You can learn about this reminder here.

Taking Client Photos From the Client Portfolio:
  1. Tap into Clients
  2. Tap into the client's profile
  3. Tap Client Portfolio
  4. Tap the + button to add a new photo. You can either take a photo, or select one from your device's library
  5. After taking or selecting the photo, click the Add button to save it. Currently, photos can only be added one at a time. 

Note: Photos taken within the GlossGenius app do not automatically save to your device's camera roll. To save a photo to your device's camera roll, tap on the image, and choose the Save to Camera Roll option.

How to View and Access Client Photos:

To access your client's photos, simply tap into the Clients tab, select the desired client's name, and scroll through their portfolio to view their pictures. Tap on any photo to examine it more closely. Additionally, you can tap the three dots (...) beneath the photo to access the following options:

  • Share
  • Save to Camera Roll
  • Make Client Cover Photo
  • Edit Notes
  • Delete Photo

These photos serve as valuable references for future appointments, allowing you to easily identify techniques, products used, and notes from past visits, ensuring consistent and satisfying results, and ultimately enhancing client satisfaction.

Can Clients See Their Client Portfolio?

No, clients are not able to access any of the images you take and add to their client portfolio.
