Enabling client reviews allows you to collect valuable feedback and showcase testimonials on your online booking site or Google Business page. This article will guide you through enabling reviews based on your subscription plan and provide important details on how reviews are collected and displayed.

Enable Client Reviews on Your Online Booking Site:

To allow clients to leave reviews on your online booking site, follow these steps:

Mobile App: 
  • Tap into Features > Settings 
  • Select Booking Controls & Notifications
  • Select Client Notifications
  • Toggle on Ask Clients to Review
Web Browser:
  • Click on your Business Name in the top left corner to open the Business Accounts dropdown menu
  • Select Settings from the dropdown
  • Select Booking Controls & Notifications
  • Scroll down to the Client Notifications section, and toggle on Ask Clients to Review 
How Clients Leave A Review:

After each appointment, you can send clients a receipt via text message or email. This receipt includes a link to their transaction details, where they can rate their experience (1-5 stars) and leave a text-based review.

Note: The review link will only be included in the receipt if the checkout ticket contains at least one service. If you only checkout a product for a client, the receipt will not include the review link.

Where Reviews Appear:

You will be notified when clients leave new reviews, and they will be displayed on the About page of your GlossGenius booking site.

Enable Client Reviews on Your Google Business Page:

Gold and Platinum plan members can also allow clients to leave reviews directly on their Google Business page. Learn more here.

Key Details:

  • When Google Reviews are enabled, clients can only leave feedback on your Google Business profile - not on your GlossGenius booking site.
  • Existing GlossGenius reviews will remain visible on your booking site.
